Our Ukraine deputy Serhiy Holovaty informed parliamentarians that he intends to take part in the work of the Verkhovna Rada and call the President and the parliament to “make a step back,” ForUm’s correspondent reported.

“I’d like the President to make a step back, I’d like the parliament and the government to take a step back, and I want this step be directed to peaceful solution of the political conflict, by means of a political dialogue,” the deputy underlined.

He also informed that on Tuesday he talked to colleagues from PACE and called them to back the address of the parliament on immediate conduct of debates in Strasburg regarding the situation in Ukraine.

“Council of Europe can play its role in this situation and call the parties to a dialogue, to a political compromise in order to avoid the most awful thing,” Holovaty noted.
