The parliament does not intend to support a draft bill on opposition, submitted by Yulia Tymoshenko. Deputy speaker Adam Martynyuk said Thursday.

Martynyuk noted that there will be no law on opposition as it contradicts the norms of parliamentary democracy. “None of European countries has such a law,” the politician said.

“The Verkhovna Rada acts in accordance with its regulations. If to pass the law on opposition, a privileged part of deputies will appear in the parliament. They will use all advantages of the opposition, provided for in the draft bill of Yulia Tymoshenko, what it is absolutely inadmissible,” the deputy said.
