Assassination of Maksim Kurochkin in Kyiv court confirms again that criminality in our country feels more in freedom and defiantly. The head of the President’s secretariat Viktor Baloha told. “This bitter truth should be admitted first of all in police and in Prosecutor’s office,” Baloha noted.
Baloha also noted that on March 23 the President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko forwarded a letter to the PM expressing concern about growth of assassinations in Ukraine. “The assassination of Kurochkin proves that assassination becomes common attribute of life,” Baloha considers.
Death of the defendant just before the verdict is a professional challenge for police. He paid attention that people on the high posts of the Interior Ministry often call themselves professionals. Let them show the society their professionalism and find Kurochkin’s assassins,” Baloha stressed.
