For rapid accession to the EU Ukraine should shift its position “standing between Russia and Europe”, express its intentions and react to changes. The ex President of Poland Alexander Kwasniewski told in Lviv within the framework of “European debate forum”.
According to him, “standing between Russia and Europe is very dangerous. Ukraine has made its decision and should realize it.”
Kwasniewski considers Ukraine should define what place it wants to take in Europe and declare: “We want to accede to the EU and NATO and we will fulfill all demands.”
According to Kwasniewski, Ukraine should declare that it maintains good relations with Russia but as the member of European structure.
Moreover, Ukrainian politicians should mind the time as in Europe political day is 12 hours, but in Ukraine it takes up to six months.
