The President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko pays one-day working visit to Sumy region.
Yushchenko is accompanied by the deputy head of the Secretariat Viktor Bondar, chairman of the VR on fuel-energy complex, nuclear policy and nuclear security Mykola Martynenko, the vice PM Andry Klyuyev, the Fuel and Energy Minister Yury Boyko, the President of National academy of science Borys Platon.
Yushchenko is expected to get familiar with scientific basis of the Institute of applied physics concerning order of the Education Ministry on development of modern technical instruments of education.
Yushchenko will conduct a meeting on creation of special metallurgy in Sumy region.
Yushchenko's visit also foresees meetings with the governors of Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions.
