The Defense Minister of Ukraine Anatoly Hrytsenko counts on rapid adoption by the VR of the law on permission of foreign troops for international military trainings on the territory of Ukraine. Hrytsenko told today on his way to Khmelnystky region with the working visit.
The Minister noted that on Friday this draft bill will be considered at the session national security and defense council (NSDC) and newt week will be submitted for voting to the VR.
Hrytsenko reminded that the President submitted given draft bill to the VR as urgent.
The Minister noted that he counts on rapid adoption of this draft bill as it was supported by the Government at the NSDC session, the PM personally and the VR speaker.
“I consider that rapid and without conflicts adoption of this draft bill will contribute to improvement of the international Ukraine’s image that was shaken in 2006 after parliamentary election when because of absence of the parliamentary majority the given draft bill was not adopted in time and military training were postponed,” he said.
According to him, in case of rapid adoption of the draft bill, there will be no conflicts at the regional level.
Moreover , to avoid possible confrontations of Defense Ministry, the Joint Stuff and civil local authorities together with ambassadors of the countries planning toe participate in military trainings inform the people about aims of such trainings.
