Deputy of The Party of Regions Vasyliy Kyselyov said to parliamentary journalists that The Party of Regions is against the approval of the candidate Volodymyr Ohryzko for the Minister of Foreign Affairs and is going to ask the President to bring in a new candidate.

He reminded that during the Monday meeting between the leaders of parliamentary fractions and the President of Ukraine the issue about approval of the candidate of Volodymyr Ohryzko was discussed. “Our faction will recommend the President to bring in a new candidate because now we have not decided on the candidate of Volodymyr Ohryzko, our factions cleaved in two,” Kyselyov pointed out.

He emphasized that if the President brings in a new compromise candidate, which would not arise such opposition, The Party of Regions will surely support it. “I think we are ready to support any candidate, which the President will bring in,” Kyselyov said and added that if the President repeatedly bring in the candidate of Tarasuk, they would not vote for him. “I think that those candidates which were under consideration should not be submitted again,” he emphasized.
