Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Moroz sent a letter to General Office of Public Prosecutor with a request to institute criminal action against deputies, who blocked electrical unit of the VR. BYuT leader Yulia Tymoshenko said at political consultations between the state government and the parliament.

Tymoshenko reminded Moroz that he in his time took part in blockade of President’s Administration and TV center, but nobody instituted a criminal case against him. “He was blocking (administration – ed.) until he got the post, and now he wants to institute a case against the opposition,” Tymoshenko said.

Moroz confirmed the fact of sending the letter. He noted that in accordance to the acting legislation, including VR regulations, deputies, elected in the parliament, “must not break electrical units.”

Commenting on Tymoshenko words concerning his participation on blocking administrative buildings, Moroz noted: “We did not hamper then President (Leonid Kuchma – ed.) to fulfill his duties. We just wanted to meet with him.”
