The Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych considers that the President should be a guarantor of the Constitution and to initiate economic growth and prosperity of the citizens but not to be a head of the opposition. Yanukovych told yesterday the “Inter” channel.

“In any country the opposition works for positive but not for instability,” Yanukovych said.

The PM considers that the reason of the opposition for the early parliamentary election is to come to the power “by all means.”

“I found out that there are 2 % of the population belonging to different parties and tenth part strives to dictate its ill to 99% of the population. Who gave them such right and why do they demand power? There is only one answer for it – they should be put in their place and we will do it,” Yanukovych noted.
