The representatives of BYuT faction propose the VR to declare a moratorium on closure of duffer mines.
The correspondent draft bill “On moratorium on closure of mines that did not exhaust their resources” was registered in the parliament on March 14.
The Cabinet is expected to be charged to create intergovernmental committee with participation of people’s deputies of Ukraine, people’s deputies of local and regional councils, representatives of scientific institutions to analyze and give grounds for closure of mines for last 15 years and possibility of renew of mines that did not exhaust their recourses.
Moreover, the committee should analyze expediency of possible mines closure; determine strict conditions of putting out of the operation and grant decisions on solving possible social problems concerning mines closure.
