Ukraine in April will start exporting coal to Bulgaria, Coal Industry Minister Serhiy Tulub told journalists, “Cabinet press office” reported.
According to him, the supply will amount up to 100,000 tons per month.
Between April and September some 800,000 tons of coal is supposed to be exported to Bulgaria. Contracts are concluded upon full pre-payment.
The Ukrainian coal balance will be ensured at the expense of increasing coal extraction by 2.7 million tons annually. According to the two-month performance, Coal Industry Ministry enterprises cope with the plan.
In 2006 coal extracting enterprises increased coal extraction by 2.8% versus 2005, up to 80.257 million tons.
