In case of appointment as Foreign Minister Volodymyr
Ohryzko intends to continue already existing undertakings on delimitation and
demarcation of the Ukrainian-Russian border. Ohryzko told in the parliament
after his nomination for the post of Foreign Minister.
“This course will be continued… A demarcative commission starts working this year in certain parts of our border, what will result in finishing the process of border delimitation. To date we have positive tendencies towards delimitation of Azov Sea, though there is still a problem of Kerch strait,” Ohryzko declared and added that RF BSF process also shows positive and dynamic results.
Ohryzko assured deputies that cooperation with the Russian side will be continued in case of his appointment Foreign Minister, but with obligatory defense of national interests.
