Opposition members won’t be paid salary

According to deputy head of regulations committee of the Verkhovna Rada Serhiy Sas, it is the only measure, which can be applied to deputies-shirkers. Taking into account special status of people’s deputies, it is impossible to apply measures, provided by labour legislation for truancy, e.g. a rebuke or a penalty.

In his turn, deputy head of the regulations committee Vasyl Kisilyov reported that for the period of absence at plenary session representatives of the opposition will not get salary. However, in case of continuation of work in parliamentary committees they will not be left without money, "Novaya Politica" reported.
