The BYuT leader Yulia Tymoshenko considers that the Head of the State Viktor Yushchenko should issue a decree on subordination of all law-enforcement bodies to the President of Ukraine. Tymoshenko told the parliamentary journalists, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.

According to her, BYuT and “Our Ukraine” consider there is a significant corruption threat of law-enforcement bodies and “there is time for the President to issue a decree on subordination of all law-enforcement bodies to the President of Ukraine as it is provided by article 106 of the Constitution of Ukraine.”

According to Tymoshenko, this article of the Constitution foresees “all armed troops are subordinated to the President.” We consider such step as urgent, taking into consideration statements of people’s deputies of anti crisis majority and conduct of public trainings and demonstration that the Interior Ministry will disperse demonstrations and peaceful meetings against tariffs increase. We think this is repressions against Ukrainian people,” she said.
