Ukraine’s membership in the European Union is possible
without accession into NATO, as deputy Secretariat Chief of Staff Oleksandr
Chaly considers.
According to him, President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko and Prime Minister Victor Yanukovych have common views on Eurointegration – “it should not remain on paper, but must be realized.”
In the air of the channel 5 Chaly said “Eurointegration of Ukraine can be successful even without membership format. Membership is a formal sign of Eurointegration.” According to him, essence of Eurointegration is in meeting European standards and real integration into the EU, first of all in economic bloc.
