
“Slovakia is an illustrative example of that membership in the European Union can be useful. We want to wish every country such opportunities of development. And we wish Ukraine to be able to meet all terms for accession into the EU,” Fico told in an interview to “Glavred” newspaper.
As for the NATO, Slovakia is interested in being worthy member of this organization, Fico noted.
“Speaking about helping Ukraine, I’d like to mention that Slovakia Embassy in Kyiv will become the so-called contact embassy for NATO. We cannot interfere in your internal affairs, but are ready to help with information. But I think that priority for Ukraine is integration into the EU, but not NATO,” Slovakia PM stated.
