Poland’s President Lech Kaczynski welcomed Victor Yushchenko for talks on Wednesday, president's press office reported.
The Ukrainian leader was honored with a ceremony that included national anthems of both countries and an honor guard.
Mr. Yushchenko and Mr. Kaczynski are now meeting one-on-one. They are expected to attend a presentation of the Odesa-Brody-Plock oil pipeline project.
