Today the leaders of the Government of Ukraine held a meeting, dedicated to the coming International women’s day, with women from different regions of the country, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.
Such arrangement took place in Ukraine for the first time. The speaker of the VR Olexander Moroz, the vice PM Dmytro Tabachnyk and the Labour and the Social Policy Minister Mykhaylo Papiyev came to congratulate women on March 8.
Cadets of military lyceum welcomed women at entrance. The national orchestra of folk instruments provided festive mood for present women.
The Ukrainian showman Ilya Noyabryov and Olympic champion on artistic gymnastics Liliya Podkopayeva were the presenters of the festive concert on occasion of celebration of the Women’s day. All present women were presented with spring flowers.
Congratulating women on coming holiday, Tabachnyk noted men should give presents to women at least every month.
Olexander Moroz also congratulated women on March 8 and noted that this day men try to find additional significant argument to show the importance of their women.
“Let every new day brings you joy and men present love,” the speaker of the VR said.
Moroz recited his own poetry to the present women.
