The Cabinet of Ministers has ratified an agreement between the Ukrainian Government and the Government of Azerbaijan on cooperation in the geodesy, cartography and the Earth remote sensing areas, “Cabinet press office” reported.
The agreement, in particular, provides for the cooperation in the topography and land measuring and geo-spatial works, aerospace land photography and the Earth remote sensing data exchange; the strategy development of digital and electronic maps data banks, geo-informational systems; the data communication on the geographical maps content updating, concerned with changes of an administrative-and-territorial division and transport network development; the research and production data exchange; the training and probation of experts on geodesy and cartography.
