The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine plans to listen to information about Ukraine’s participation in the American program on anti-missile defense systems the next plenary session. Vice speaker Adam Martynyuk told “1+1” TV channel.

He did not exclude that the parliament would invite heads of foreign departments and external secret service. “We will ask those who are responsible for foreign policy, acting Foreign Minister, those, who according to the Constitution guarantee our security – who, when and how did they agree with the US about anti-missile defense systems,” the vice speaker said.

He reminded that Mass Medias leaked information that Ukraine is in the list of countries, with which administration of George Bush cooperates on anti-missile defense system. “That is quite interesting question – who take part and at what stage?” Martynyuk said.

As a reminder, John Rood, Assistant Secretary in Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation, named in his report the list of countries, with which administration of George Bush cooperates on anti-missile defense system. According to him, the list includes Great Britain, Australia, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Israel, India, Japan, the Netherlands, Taiwan, Ukraine, Poland and Czech Republic.
