Minister of Transport and Communications Mykola Rudkovsky and a delegation of the Chinese group of companies involved in road and bridge construction (the "China Road and Bridge Corporation") have considered the Chinese corporation participation in highways construction syndicate in Ukraine during a bilateral meeting, the Ministry press-service reported, “Cabinet press office” reported.
Chinese banks are about to invest in the highways construction in Ukraine giving a long-term credit to the amount of 5 billion USD for 20-25 year term.
According to Rudkovsky, the first road to be constructed on the concession bases will be an arterial road, which connects East and West Ukraine. It will run through the Lviv-Ternopil-Khmelnytsky-Vinnytsya-Khirovohrad-Dnipropetrovsk-Luhansk route.
As a result of the visit, the State Service for Motorways of Ukraine and the "China Road and Bridge Corporation" are expected to sign a common declaration, which provides a joint interest on the syndicate creation and motorways construction on the concession bases in Ukraine.
