Financial breach in amount of UAH 559 million is revealed in the Interior Ministry. The deputy Interior Minister Viktor Suslov told today, having referred to the check data of the Control-inspection commission and special department of the Ministry.
“Such revision had never been executed, thus concrete people will be responsible for revealed breach,’ he said.
According to Suslov, the revision should have been completed by the end of the March. That’s why the amount of breach might be much higher.
“Severe financial breach relates with free lance staff in central department of the Interior Ministry. It makes the Ministry system nontransparent,” he added.
Suslov also informed that the revision commission revealed illegal usage of tap mechanisms by one of the efficient-research department. This complex allows to tap cell-phones of any person and to define his location at the moment.
Suslov noted that revision check does not relate to the political struggle against ex Interior Minister Yury Lutsenko. Suslov said that the General Office of Public Prosecutor will bring an accusation against concrete officials after revision completion.
