Georgia’s President Mikhail Saakashvili has welcomed Victor Yushchenko to the Parliament Building in Tbilisi for talks, president's press office reports.
The Ukrainian leader was honored with a ceremony that included national anthems of both countries and an honor guard.
Today’s Ukrainian-Georgian negotiations are expected to focus on economic issues and will result in a number of bilateral agreements.
Yushchenko and Saakashvili will hold a joint press
conference after the talks.
