The President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko called upon the Government to refuse the struggle for authorities. He told in an interview.
Answering the journalists’ question, whether we are ready for such democratic steps as “round tables”, universal pacts and gentlemen agreements, the President answered: “I am convinced that we are ready. The matter is to determine precise the mutual position.”
According to him, one cannot leave in such chaos as we have now, when every day there is a struggle for authorities.
“It seems that the Government is not interested in anything else except authorities. Health protection, education, judicial reform – the government has nothing to do with this,” Yushchenko said.
