Local professional theatre of Sevastopol first staged a
play in the Ukrainian language.
On February 16, 17 and 18 Sevastopol youth theatre “Na Bolshoy morskoy” presented lyric comedy “Marriage in Maryanivka” by the pay of Volodymyr Kanivets “ingle life of our grandpas.”
As the director of the play Ludmila Orshanska told journalists, the play was aimed at intimacy of cultures, as “we are citizens of Ukraine and must communicate, must be friends, and none of the barriers - language, religion – do not matter.”
