Yesterday President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko met with Volodymyr Serhiychuk, Director of the Center for Ukrainian Studies of the Taras Shevchenko National University, president’s press office reported.
The parties spoke about how to build monuments to prominent Ukrainians, especially those buried abroad.
The President suggested forming a group of officials, scientists and lawyers to consider the issue. They will submit their proposals to the National Commission on Culture.
