The cabinet of Ukraine approved action plan for 2007 on social provision of the homeless citizens by its resolution №54-р of February 14.
The Government charged the Labour Ministry and other central authorities of executive power to develop draft of Conception of social protection for homeless citizens and to submit it to the Cabinet in January – March.
Moreover, the Cabinet charged the Ministers Council of Crimea, regional, Kyiv and Sevastopol municipal administrations to organize work on creation material base (warm clothes, provision, medicines) for homeless people.
The Construction Ministry should work out recommendations on project of houses for social purpose and implement this project.
It is also planned to create Coordination council on solving problems concerning granting aid for homeless citizens.
Local authorities should create centers to register main location of the homeless people and to contribute to their documents recovery.
