The Cabinet of Ministers approved a bill on amending the law "On licensing some types of economic activity", which, in particular, envisages licensing retail trade in oil products, Vice Prime Minister Andriy Klyuyev said, “Cabinet press office” reported.
The necessity of this move is connected with circulation of low quality oil products on the market. "The bill has been drafted on the request of both oil traders and oil refineries. As, all those who sell low quality oil products, beat down the price on the internal market. It is called unfair competition," Klyuyev explained.
Earlier, the Fuel and Energy Ministry announced introduction of an instruction of control the quality of oil and oil products at enterprises and organizations. It has been made with a view of establishing the single order of oil and oil product control while receiving them, storing, transporting and selling, the Ministry's press service reported.
