President praises Deaflympic winners

Victor Yushchenko has congratulated six Ukrainians athletes that won medals at the 2007 Deaflympic Games in Salt Lake City, president's press office reports.

“The medals you won in Salt Lake City are proofs of your courage, stamina and mastership,” he said.

“I am convinced your achievements in the international Deaflympic arena demonstrated to the whole world Ukraine’s winning spirit, which will inspire athletes to make new achievements for the sake of their motherland.”
