Ukrainian parliament elected Thursday the vice speaker of the VR and top human rights official, ForUm’s correspondent reported.

As Yaroslav Suhoy, chairman of the count commission, reported, 340 deputies supported Mykola Tomenko’s candidature for the post of the vice speaker of the parliament.

BYuT member Oleksandr Turchinov presented Tomenko white roses and speaker Oleksandr Moroz asked him to take his working seat.

Suhoy also reported that the parliament re-elected Nina Karpachyova on the post of the top human right official by 255 votes. After the oath Karpachyova sent in deputy’s abdication application.
