Agenda of today’s session of the Verkhovna Rada does not include vote for the candidature of Volodymyr Ohryzko for the post of Foreign Minister of Ukraine.

The President nominated Orhyzko on February 5, and the vote on his candidature must have taken place on Thursday.

Absence of this issue in the agenda means that political conflict between the President and the government continues. Our Ukraine deputy Anatoly Matviyenko told journalists.

He reminded that the President submitted Ohryzko’s candidature for consideration in the parliament, but failed to observe full procedure of submission. On Wednesday missing documents were delivered to the parliament, but deputies of the anti-crisis coalition refused to add the documents to the case.

Matviyenko underlined that if the President does not nominate a candidature for the post of the Foreign Minister of Ukraine within 15 days the coalition has a right to nominate its candidature.
