Radio station “Voice of America” stops its broadcast on the territory of post soviet countries – Ukraine, Russia and Georgia “Channel 5” informed.
The radio station is financed by the American Government and since 1947 Russian-speaking “Voice of America” was only one source of alternative information for citizens of USSR. Now the USA decided to stop financing of the project and to direct these funds to development of broadcast in Moslem countries.
