Prime Minister of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych considers
it principle to determine perspectives of Ukraine’s membership in the European
Union. Yanukovych declared Tuesday at the session of Ukraine-Troika EU.
“There is public consensus on the key strategic goal concerning obtaining EU membership. The President, the Verkhovna Rada and the government have common position on this issue,” Yanukovych said.
The Premier underlined that the priority task of the government is realization of Ukraine-EU Action Plan. “We need to hear from you, Mr. Steinmeier, how Ukraine’s European perspectives will be shown in the new agreement. It is of great importance for us,” Yanukovych said.
