There is an agreement in the parliament concerning overcoming the veto imposed on the law on imperative mandate, if the President does not sign this law by February 5. BYuT leader Yulia Tymoshenko declared at the All-Ukrainian forum of deputies of local councils, elected on BYuT party ticket.

According to Tymoshenko, if the President adheres to democratic positions, he will sign this law. “We expect the President to carry out his function and to make this law effective. If the law is not signed, we will override the veto in the parliament,” BYuT’s leader said.

“There is a political agreement that this law will come into force in any circumstances and in any weather,” Tymoshenko added.

Besides, Tymoshenko underlined that she intends to do her best to make the law functioning for all deputies of Ukraine, including deputies of the Verkhovna Rada and even the President.
