Ukraine imposed a ban on import of poultry products from Hungary because of outburst of bird flu on the territory of Hungary.
According to State department of veterinary medicine of Ukraine, in accordance with International epizootic bureau, poultry disease of high pathogenic flu is registered on the Hungarian territory.
As a result of it, import of poultry and its product from Hungary to Ukraine is banned by the decree of head state inspector of veterinary medicine of Ukraine Ivan Bisyuk of January 25, 2007, UNIAN informs.
As the State department of veterinary medicine informed, flu virus is discovered on the south-east of Hungary as a result of sudden death of three hundred geese.
