According to him, the program will become a part of the governmental program “Competitive Ukraine.”
The Minister informed that this year new education plans and programs will be introduced. He reminded that the number of bachelor’s programs, corresponding to international list, has been reduced.
Nikolayenko informed that the Education Ministry develops international activity of Universities. Besides, the Ministry works out a law on higher education.
In 2010 university graduates will get diplomas of European model, the minister also reported.
“For four years we’ve been running an experiment on transfer to international standards, in particular to adaptation to Bologna process requirements. Since 2006 all Universities have been working on the basis of these requirements,” he noted.
