“I wish you, Victor Andreyevych, success in your responsible state activity, I wish prosperity and well-being to the brotherly people of Ukraine,” the letter of congratulations says, Russia’s Embassy in Ukraine reports.
Putin also pointed out considerable potential and promising future of Ukrainian-Russian relations. He expressed assurance that further development of cooperation between two countries meets real interests of the peoples and countries.
“Results of the session of Russian-Ukrainian intergovernmental commission, the important event in bilateral relations, strengthen my assurance in this. Consequent realization of reached agreements is called to intensify Russian-Ukrainian strategic partnership,” the letter says.
