It hardly possible to hold early parliamentary elections without introducing changes into the law on elections, as chairman of the Central Election Commission Yaroslav Davydovych said in an interview “Focus” weekly.

“The procedure of holding early parliamentary elections is very complicated from the view of the legislation. It is hardly possible to hold it without changes to the corresponding law,” Davydovych declared.

According to him, the legislation in force provides for that early election must be held in two months after it appointment at the latest. “It is undertime to the limit, which demands superhuman efforts from those, who is going to hold it,” Davydovych noted.

He also reported that according to preliminary estimation such elections will cost about 355 million hryvnias.
