In an hour the government will prepare an address to
the parliament and the President Yushchenko with a request to determine acting Foreign
Minister of Ukraine. Minister of the Cabinet Anatoly Tostoukhov told journalists
at a briefing.
“We are still waiting for deputy Foreign Minister Ohryzhko to be present at sessions of the Cabinet as an acting Foreign Minister. On this session we considered directives for the Ukrainian delegation for the forthcoming meeting with a Russia delegation during the visit of Russia’s President Vladimir Putin,” the minister said.
Tolstoukhov underlined that “odd situation may occur in connection with the forthcoming visit of Russia’s President Putin to Ukraine, as Yushchenko still considers Tarasyuk the Foreign Minister of Ukraine.”
