The Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych reminded at the Cabinet’s session that yesterday the draft budget bill was adopted in the Parliament, the ForUm’s correspondent reports.

“Today at 9.30 a.m. this budget bill should be in the President’s Secretariat of Ukraine,” he said.

Yanukovych hopes to get the answer on three remarks to the budget bill made by the President of Ukraine. “The people’s deputies together with coalition Government made decision and inserted some amendments in the budget bill,” he said.

The Prime Minister noted that the coalition Government inserted all possible amendments in the draft bill and “it is the biggest compromise from our side.” “Everything else is out of our possibilities and we won’t execute any other remarks,” the PM noted.

At the same time Yanukovych said that his Government stands for real economy and real budget revenues. “It will be our policy and we will work to increase the budget revenues, salaries, pensions and social protection of the citizens,” the Prime Minister said.

Yanukovych is also sure that those reforms in 2007 will assist in such a good work. “I won’t make forecasts but in any case I am sure that the budget bill will be signed and Ukraine will have a budget in 2007,” he said.

Yanukovych is convinced he will reach mutual understanding with the President.
