Declarations, made recently by Prime Minister Victor
Yanukovych, do not meet agreements, President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko told
“Izvestia v Ukraine” newspaper. In response to the question concerning Tarasyuk’s
dismissal, the President said that his dismissal was illegal.
“Tarasyuk’s dismissal is illegal and I don’t admit it,” Yushchenko said.
“Tarasyuk remains the minister, and the Premier has no right to nominate other candidatures. I don’t like the style of our relations with the PM. Declarations he makes do not meet our agreements. I want our relations be friendly. But taking into account the reality I want to say: let’s at least respect the laws and the President,” Yushchenko stated.
