The Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych informed that the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev is supposed to visit Ukraine on January 28.
“Visit of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Abishevich is scheduled for January 28,” the PM said at the press conference in Astana after the meeting with Nazarbayev on Thursday.
Yanukovych noted that considerations would be concretized on the results of the recent session of the Ukrainian-Kazakh intergovernmental commission on cooperation, and on the results of his current visit.
He stressed that in the scope of the meeting with Nazarbayev they paid great attention to common policy of transport ways’ development and unification of transport tariffs among Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Russia.
The Head of the State said that these questions will be discussed both during Nazarbayev’s visit to Ukraine and during the session of the Ukrainian-Russian intergovernmental commission Yushchenko-Putin on December 22 in Kyiv.
Yanukovych also said that in the scope of the meeting with the Kazakhstan’s President they discussed questions on joint oil and coal production, on agricultural and engineering
According to Yanukovych the parties also discussed cooperation of oil transportation and joint construction of oil-refining plant.
