First Deputy chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Adam Martynyuk is against the prohibition to deputy of the Russian State Duma Konstantin Zatulin to enter Ukraine.

“I will express my opinion not as one of heads of the state, but as an odinary citizen,” he reported Tuesday, answering journalists’ questions during press-conference in Kyiv.

Martynyuk emphasized that he is solidary with the statement of the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Olexander Moroz, who said that if the Russian’svice-speaker Vladimir Zhirinovsky visits Ukraine more often, it will help to consolidate the Ukrainian Nation.

“If a person has his own opinion, if he sees the development of these or those events in different way …I don’t think this prohibition will improve mutual relations,” Martynyuk said.
