Ukraine can take a great part of conflicts regulation on the Caucasus, the Chairman of Georgia’s Parliament Nino Burdjanadze considers.
“Ukraine can play very important role not only for Georgia but also for the region on the whole. This is a huge country with huge potential. The word “Ukraine” is important for Europe, Russia and Georgia. Ukraine can play intermediary and peacemaking role. Ukraine can actively support and suggest new initiatives that will contribute to conflicts regulation,” Burdjanadze said.
“I want to express my good intentions to your people and country. It is desired to be better in your country as it is now. I wish the President Yushchenko success, he faces a difficult task,” she added.
