The first sitting of the
Ukrainian-Russian international commission will take place on December 22 in
Ukraine, Deputy Chief of the Presidential Secretariat Oleksandr Chalyi told a news briefing. The Russian President will participate in the sitting,
Oleksandr Chalyi stressed and added that a summit in Minsk, Belarus, involved
consideration of the meeting's format.
Oleksandr Chalyi noted
that the meeting will be large-scaled and a large number of
international documents are to be signed. The sitting will also involve a meeting between
Presidents Viktor Yushchenko of Ukraine and Vladimir Putin of Russia to discuss
the Ukrainian-Russia cooperation.
