Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yuri Lutsenko confirms that the level of corruption and abuse of power does not decrease, unfortunately. Lutsenko told journalists Wednesday.

“Today I’ve heard quite familiar facts, as two thirds of facts of corruption said today were revealed by Interior Ministry. I can confirm that the level of corruption and number of people involved have not decreased in comparison with 2003 and 2004,” Lutsenko said.

The minister also told journalists that on the session of the Cabinet he had received a note, which stated that “orange” corrupts would be judged soon. “I answered thus: immediately after “blue” ones, as if the first and the second are not imprisoned, the third will continue such practice,” Lutsenko said.

Lutsenko considers that overcoming corruption is very important issue for today, but it will not be set afoot “until we start fighting against predecessor and giving legal estimation to any teams with any party tickets.”
