Representatives of BYuT and Our Ukraine had blocked the parliamentary tribune in the protest against the fact that BYuT member Yuri Gnatkevych was not appointed for the post in the committee on human rights.

During the voting on his candidature, opinions varied. 219 deputies, mainly from OU and BYuT, out of 226 necessary voted for Gnatkevych.

After the deputy had blocked the tribune, VR speaker Oleksandr Moroz announced a break in the work of the parliament.

After the break Moroz submitted Gnatkevych candidature for the repeated voting. 402 deputies supported his candidature this time.
