Victor Yushchenko has written letters to Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych and Parliamentary Speaker Oleksandr Moroz with a suggestion to revise WTO bills, president's press office reported.
“I suggest that representatives of the President and the government jointly revise bills to formulate a common position on the issue and propose bills that are consistent with national interests and include suggestions of all the parties,” he said.
The President reiterated that these bills should be passed without delay to ensure that Ukraine joins the WTO.
“I hope our joint efforts in this direction will help ensure that Ukraine joins the World Trade Organization as soon as possible,” he said.
