The EU is interested in creation of new form of cooperation with Ukraine, as Co-Chairperson of the EU-Ukrainian Parliamentary Cooperation Committee Marek Sivec said at a meeting with Speaker Oleksandr Moroz. The relevant negotiations should complete as soon as possible, he said, Cabinet press office reported.
In his turn, Oleksandr Moroz opined that the EU should determine whether it will negotiate on neighbourhood, or will seek closer relations. He also noted that all political forces are aware of a necessity to deepen cooperation with the EU. We will count on support of Europe as regards Ukraine's accession to the WTO and preparation of a new agreement on cooperation between EU and Ukraine, Oleksandr Moroz said.
At the meeting Marek Sivec informed Oleksandr Moroz on results of a sitting of the EU-Ukrainian Parliamentary Cooperation Committee's Bureau. We are ready to uphold Ukraine's EuroIntegration bid. We started a new form of our relations, he said.
