In Prime Minister’s opinion, efficient use of state property is a component of the Government’s work which provides Ukraine not only with an opportunity to get state budget revenues but to represent us in the world as a state which serves its national interests.
According to Viktor Yanukovych, today many joint-stock companies are managed by shareholders who hold small property share in these companies. In this connection, the Head of Government commissioned the Finance Ministry in accordance with the current legislation immediately to hold meetings in those joint-stock companies where the state holds property share 50 and more percents and to consider an issues concerning improvement of state property use and management of joint-stock companies.
Prime Minister has also commissioned the Justice Ministry, Ministry of Internal Affairs and State Property Fund of Ukraine to take under control implementation of this task.
“We shall give an answer to the Ukrainian citizens: are we able to introduce order in our state or not? That is why, every Ministry will report about efficiency of state property use and what the state gains by it”, Viktor Yanukovych said.
Additionally, he said during examination of use of entrails of the earth in Ukraine facts of corruption were revealed. “For example, we have checked gas extraction. Results are amazing – violations of Ukraine’s laws, corruption and so on,” Yanukovych said and added law enforcement bodies were charged to introduce order in this sphere.
